WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Frequently Asked Questions
What are Sundays like?
Every Sunday we seek to encounter God in meaningful worship and relevant teaching from the Bible. You’ll find plenty of friendly people who treat you like family, without judgment or criticism.
What should I wear?
Our dress code is relaxed. We are more interested in who you are than what you’re wearing.
What's the preaching like?
Our preaching is biblical, relevant, and engaging. Our pastors offer Christ-centered messages, explaining God’s Word and how it relates to our lives. Click here to listen to a sermon.
How's the music?
Our goal is to offer music that is contemporary yet reverent. We blend the latest worship music with the best of the Christian tradition in an effort to create an environment that is meaningful to all.
Where do my kids go?
We consider it a tremendous privilege when you entrust us with your kids and students. Thank you!
- Quality, Christ-centered programming is provided all service long during both services for infants through preschool-aged kids.
- During our 9 a.m. service, we have programming for kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
- During our 10:45 a.m. service, our kids in kindergarten through 5th grade join their families for the first portion of service, then are dismissed to KiX Worship. Our IMPACT students are encouraged to attend service.
Do you take communion?
We offer communion every Sunday during worship. We invite all believers to celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus by participating with us in taking the Lord’s Supper.
How do you handle offering?
As a guest, you are not expected to give an offering. Offerings are made by the Parkgate Family as part of our commitment to God and the church. To help our guests feel more comfortable, we don’t even pass an offering plate. If you would like to give, we have offering boxes located in the back of the sanctuary where you can give. You can also give online.
